As most of you already know, Undercover Skate Shop is now under new ownership. The transfer of ownership was completed on January 1st, 2013. Undercover Skate Shop is proud to introduce its new owners Aaron and Christina aka Teeny Jewett.
You can find Aaron, Teeny, and Aaron Tyler (well Aaron Tyler will most likely be skating on the indoor mini ramp) gripping boards and answering any questions customers may have. Aaron is working hard on getting new products, planning upcoming contests, skate demos and staying involved with community events.
Undercover Skate Shop will continue to provide its customers with a large variety of skateboards, longboards, apparel, footwear and hardware. Undercover is now offering skate nights on Wednesday and Thursday nights as well as skate lessons held every Saturday morning. For more information visit www.skateundercover.com.

Undercover Skateboard Shop is proud to announce it’s second shop deck design contest. We want to see just how creative you really are.
Here are the details:
Contest begins: May 1,2013
Contest ends: July 1, 2013
Our Undercover logo must be present somewhere in the design. ( it can say Undercover too )
Your design must be submitted in at least one of the following formats: .ai,.eps,.pdf,.psd,.tiff.
We can also use .jpg, but there is an inherent loss of quality with this format.
Software versions supported are up to Photoshop cs6 and up to Illustrator cs6.
A high resolution file is highly recommended.

If you wish to make your own template, the required dimensions are:
9″ x 33″ @ a resolution of at least 300 DPI ( keep in mind a skateboard )
Your design may be cropped a bit to fit the decks properly.
Send completed designs to shop@skateundercover.com
You may submit as many times as you like.
The winning design will be posted to our website and all of our social outlets as well as printed on our skateboards.
The contest winner will receive a printed deck with their design on it along with an Undercover shop t-shirt!

Entry fee – $3
Divisions – Will be decided upon contestant entries received
JUDGES – There will be 3 judges. Each judge will have their own scorecard.
POINTS – Points will be awarded based on consistency, technicality and style. A basic trick gets 1 point, technical tricks get 2 points.
RUNS – Each skater will receive 2 runs of 60 seconds each. The run with the highest score will be used.
TIES – Ties will be broken by a 60 second “skate-off” with winners being decided by the judges based on number of tricks, technicality of tricks and style.
DISRUPTIVE OR INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR WILL RESULT IN AN AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION!

On April 5th, 2013 we held our 4th bi-monthly mini ramp contest inside the shop. If you weren’t there you blew it. There was some major shredding going on. You might not want to miss the next one.
